They can occur on any day of the week apart from a Sunday because "Sunday is the day of truth" .
These manifestations of rude and robust behaviour are essentially about deception.
There is little or no playacting on a Saturday after 11.15-11.45 a.m. because that is when overtime paid at double rate begins at work in Britain and Ireland and Saturday, therefore, fades into a day of rest.
Certain observations can be made about street scenes with strangers...

Our times
Tailing is these days a device by the CONCERNED to keep people safe and other remarks of mine are dated so pay no heed. Someone else is paying for surveillance, usually the taxpayer or local representative body.
There is always danger but one thing features prominently in garrison towns namely that the Church finds it impossible to help anyone because of the amount of lowlife thereabouts and that is A CERTAIN FACT.
