America has exported its factories as a tactic to keep a coterie of client states and dependent allies.
The United States is no longer solvent. It finances itself by international credit.
It is an exhausted and ruined country whose governments compete for the support of the self-employed workers soldiers and farmers.
China has become a competitor with the US but....
The US desires to lay siege to China and it did to the USSR BUT,
The US unlike in the 1950's does not have 48% of the world's manufacturing capacity and cannot match China by means within international law....
The US controls a similar percentage of economic activity in my estimation to what it controlled in 1948 BUT that economic activity is not carried on within its own borders and does not yield any revenue to the US exchequer....
It cannot be taxed in its new location and by the American government without endangering the solvent.....
It would seem that while the US is a great power,it no longer is as strong relative to the world total of manufacturing capacity as it was in 1948.....
Why put this disinterested observation on a website dedicated to cora cinnuna,the ways of sense?
Because the US is trying to punch above its weight.
If the US continues to build the means of war,there will not be enough to renew fixed and floating capital or pay its workers enough to live and the US will by imperial design enter a downward spiral of decay and economic exhaustion....
