Yes, someone who has given information about you or your friends or family to the police and reckons you "know too much" about his dealings with police and paramilitaries. He keeps you to his left. Like the person who bluffs a good person,he is a tramp if he is not connected to the Catholic Church.

Also remember that if you leave your imagination open to the grotesque, unusual, bizarre and unprecedented,you place your sanity at risk because mind and soul are interlinked and interconnected. Not as in the Kings of the Wild Frontier of Reagan's imagination and of the  people around him. What of the political headmen who endorse the high-sounding claims of bankers and businessmen in these street parades?

They appeal to the sensibilities of political tramps. Political headmen and their friends have been known to crawl through the streets trying to engage people in idle gossip and the business of spreading rumours. 

To return to my theme of contrarian reasoning and confrontation, Irish republicans' accomplices ring you up at four o clock in the morning to discuss the affairs of the day. Your opinions they hope to communicate on to some tiny republican or left-wing newspaper or obscure nationalist local publication.

Regarding political delusion and self-delusion which follows on the part of the target of these Provo street manifestations,let it be remembered in Ireland what an old Berlin spinster said to herself in April 1945 when a helpless, hopeless cripple claimed, "Berlin remains German and Vienna will be German again". She believed "Goebbels would not lie to us" (The World at War, ITV, 1974) because the Germans have an unshakeable belief in street performance to the end of any of their street performances as do the Russians and Irish police.

Deception?

Members of the Irish internet audience, pay heed!

Southerners on the moderate spectrum,just as you would not have been fooled by Hitler and Mussolini's speeches,do not be fooled by political rhetoric and agitation from Sinn Fein and tiny left-wing groups' activist membership. Ignore nonsense from state news media about widespread poverty amongst the unemployed workers of the East. It is Britain and the Irish and banks in the West who are the beneficiaries of the loose banking practices of those countries. Not only do they bring faraway clients to ruin but it is these patrons which are selling everything that isn't nailed down there. They do not get away with it in any democratic country. Ignore the British and Irish media.

The other side of the story 

Those who live off the taxpayer such as establishment journalists and civil society activists use and abuse other independent people for want of common sense. They never tell the used and abused who their own paymasters are. 

It is policemen and businessmen who instruct these intermediaries,paid  and unpaid,to torment independent-minded people with nuisance activity in both public and private (but not so as to blacken the name of others who they have in their pocket).

I ndeireadh na dala,you will find that police are the real mischief-makers.

Where the contrarian and republican tradition is strongest,you find widespread abuse of the listening public on radio and television and a complete absence of police activity to control crime.

Will the North of Ireland be any better off under a United Ireland?

No, definitely not.

Republican agitation even in its limited form today and widespread opposition to civil policing have influenced your whole country since the 1920's,we say to Southern Unifiers. There is no vision for anything other than a lawless society anywhere on the political spectrum in the South,we say to you. Ireland is a ship at sea with every party competing for control of government finances and fiscal resources. No-one is at the helm. The South is a lawless society because of the absence of a proper conception of government from political parties and people.

Another view

On all fronts whether it be street parades by Sinn Fein members or political policing or alternative forms of policing,it is only marriage and monogamy that quench any form of dissent or contrarian reasoning and street alternation. Women believe in harmony and peace for the most part and are often,when not dipsomaniac,the only guarantors of unity and cohesion.
