The scene at Calvary

At the Last Supper Jesus ,known as rabbuni or Teacher to the Galileans amongst whom he grew up-"Can anything good come from Nazareth?" as Judeans said or as Ahern,Bruton ,Ahern and Cosgrove instructed the Guards to tell us "Get to hell back to the North!"-had many wise sayings which have come down to us...the drug addict in the flat beneath me in Saint Teresa's Gardens called myself " a sap(iente)" so maybe,I should repeat some of them...

"I shall leave you the Advocate after I am gone,he shall guide you in what to say when you are brought before rulers and magistrates...."..

At the scene on the Cross ,Jesus like all teachers a man of means, turned to endow John with his possessions and the content of the alms bag and to make John and him alone his successor as Advocate.

That is the reason why most churchmen in reformed congregations put so much emphasis on the King James' Bible version of the Gospel according to Saint John the Evangelist. The Labour Party take their cue for nurturing young children with both material and spiritual nourishment to the neglect of their parents and elders. They and the clergy soon abandon them when they get older or are intellectually disabled or children of the misbegotten and content themselves with preaching instead emotional and financial continence. Many CoE clergymen  endorse Epicureanism as did Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels

The defining point of Protestantism is salvation by faith alone).

That is why to this day in the English Court system the most inspired legal counsel or advocate goes by the name of John or Sean.

....

Give ear unto the voice of the Teacher and heed the Teacher's words.
