However, this observation aside,my advice to Northern socialists and Old Labour men desirous of change is to swallow your tongue and vote in political elections at the risk of contradicting your well-grounded suspicion of politicians. It is necessary at times to put aside real political beliefs because in these troubled times,we must hove to "any port in a storm".
Sinn Fein's unshakeable grip on the public imagination endures.
Democratic change of the improvement type will come after the novelty of Irish Reunification has worn off and after its foremost advocates are long dead.

It must be remarked that our loyalist police are in mortal fear of all republicans of any stripe and deservedly so. They see in them an enemy of abuses of human rights, firm opponents of Orange Order thuggery and spies and perceived in them agitators against British Army monitoring.
IRA former members and militants should ignore female medical and nursing meddlers who have become Britain's defenders unless their activities form a concerted pattern of behaviour.
.....
The IRA resists all efforts at moral guidance and spiritual encouragement. Its leaders do not accept instruction and they refuse to learn from better counsel. It is impossible to reach its real leaders who are always unknown. Its frontmen are sometimes pig-in-the-middle between its clientele and its own background team.
.....
Few of the Sinn Feiners who proclaim their affinity from the roof top are taken seriously. They are usually drunk or high on drugs. When you find them outside public houses, they are intoxicated and spoiling for a fight.
Their opponents?
What organisation lies behind our Irish and European medical-political-police menage-a-trois?
The British Government and US State Department.
....
A future dimension to our problems?
A good President has come to power in the US. We indulge ourselves with the vain hope that he addresses the global threat presented by the "gangster elite" of the CIA. Since 1948 the CIA has spread its tentacles to every country on earth and armed numerous rebels and death-squads.

Is socialism lost to the National Demand for Irish Unity?
Adams and the Provos go much too far in rubbishing criticism of their shabby behaviour to progressive thinkers. A firm rebuff to his nihilistic grandstanding is called for in the press and on social media. Adams and his remaining small coterie of twenty faithful admirers hallucinate a lot about what he used to call "the Army" and being a Gaeilgeoir. He lacks the ability and nous to learn Irish in its true, archaic and incomprehensible manner. His Belfast Irish is a bog-standard version of 'caighdean' Irish (Donal O Cofaigh, after his grandfather, Rinne,Co. Waterford).
Adams in himself?
Adams was one of that pair of political representatives, the plenipotentiaries in charge of republican groups, who I warned in good time to countermand the order for the attack on Loughgall Police Station in May 1987,the other being further South. A "bad start" to the Celtic summer of that year.
...
A widely shared illusion about the IRA rehashed in the Boston College tapes ran that Adams was C/S on various occasions. This is a basic misunderstanding formed from a lack of real knowledge of military revolutionary organisation. A military revolutionary commission such as the military revolutionary committee ('coiste seasta') which ran the IRA from August 1969 was composed of one military chief and two political plenipotentiaries. The political plenipotentiaries advised the military commissar. The IRA used the old Russian military revolutionary system adopted by the Civil War leaders. In the case of the early 1970's IRA there were two political commissars and one military commissar, Stephenson; in the late 1980's,Doherty and in the 1990's,Brian Keenan.

Conclusions on the republican movement
A hard taskmaster to its members,an evenhanded bunch of knaves, the Provisionals.
Is the IRA or was it worse to be in than an army of a normal type?
It required total vigilance against the snares and traps of the Cockney or Mancunian army sergeant, his friends jolly japes and police tricks to incriminate others. Caution was necessary as regards the wider security apparatus.
Me, myself,I?
Careful attention to detail as an intelligence officer and close scrutiny of the behaviour of not just enemies but the enemies of others was required. Mine was the road less travelled in the IRA,the spy, the listener and watcher, the SCOUT. (Formal discipline is even stricter in a regular army and embraces a multiplicity of disciplinary measures but you have sufficient time to unwind. An IRA man cannot. He has to be always on his guard for his own family and wary of long-term and even casual acquaintances who are,in Ireland, often blabbermouths).

Reciprocity
The central feature of all European revolutionary groups is mutual agency. A minority of adherents are giving information to the police and the authorities be that,or they, army, governor or paramilitary task force. That occurs with the open approval of the general secretary and leading figures.
And...
...the police enlist wasters and drop-outs as spies and false-flag agents ,the latter being in fact members of a rival group. They are used as the PBP group is used to spy on the host-beast. In Ireland they are acting under the supervision of an orchestrator who reports directly to both the Department of the Taoiseach and Home Office.
We count Michael and Manus O Riordain as such spooks, one spying on left-wing extremists and revolutionaries, the other on Rory Quinn. That sort of low-life activity gains grace and favour from the authorities for their sideline activities in fraud and embezzlement. With the assistance of other infiltrators they gain promotion to the nerve centre of the host beastie.
....
Adams' opponents,the police in themselves
In the same style a policeman, everyone's friend and none-I refer to people like Peter Mc Grory (alias for Eddy Sheridan)-mock the poor, discriminate on social and economic grounds and encourage sloth and ignorance. Policemen in those roles fear only public exposure and believe only in the chaos theory (after Richard Dawkins.)
Sane people like myself, not Downey,Mc Cartney,Barrett or Cody or Bones, believe in order and a law-governed state.

The patrimony of republican media spoofers?
Ignore the revolutionary baggage of Sinn Feiners and aligned groups about spies. They have an unhealthy preoccupation with espionage and imaginary intrigue(s). Concentrate, readers, on the Provos variant of socialism which is welfare incomes. There is no delivery of economic and labour inputs into society because they do not pay taxes and always have the begging bowl out.
....
The Sinn Fein ideological baggage train
Look to the coattailing of US politicians on nationalism's behalf by foolish clergymen such as Fr Sean Mc Manus. Remember, Irishmen, no gravy train of investment, wealth and relative prosperity runs for ever.
Take stock as the US love affair with Ireland comes to an end after a sixty-year hiatus.
Let us not fall for old Tammany Hall plamas ('tokenism') and what the Americans call 'pork barrel politics' and horse trading.
....
A future beyond reunification and US disengagement
Let us look to what we can achieve on our own and see in imminent reunification, not an end BUT A BEGINNING.
There is more to politics than the shoneen traitor and the informer and lickspittle politics many in Sinn Fein have become involved with. In my opinion many Sinn Fein voters are thickwitted and stubborn and practise blind, unreasoning loyalty to goals which can never be reached by their well-practised methods.
Let us also questiion Sinn Fein relentless muckraking in the Establishment media and say,Is feidir linn. I,for my part will repeat to myself what my little Irish mother said about the train coming up the hill,"I can,Will,I can,I will," and as it comes down the other side,"Sure I knew I could do it,Sure I knew I could do it."

Class composition
Most Sinn Feiners are declassed types but their educated confederates have retained their high hopes of change and better times ahead, hopes that are grounded in colours, recreation and playacting.
Our local Sinn Fein sow in Fermanagh South Tyrone,a heaven mare,is a marketing diploma holder. A diploma is awarded to fifth-rate scholars and the unteachable.
What is she marketing?
Why herself! The detestable fat-arsed farm sow, Michelle Gildernew,no less.
Behind the palaver, she is a pathetic nuisance.

The armed uprising. The Catholic doctors involvement
One of the features of all insurgencies is the use of drugs by rulers to incite violence and incapacitate friend and foe both.
I have experience of the phenomenon. I was poisoned with LSD by Linda Kowalski ("Patricia Sharkey"), Brian Mc Cartney,Hugh O Neill and Manus Maguire on the orders of Jimmy Gleeson and Lavinia Patten.
Young people, endeavour to learn from an experienced man. The road to ruin is paved with good intentions. Drugs play a key role in preparing the cutthroat for action as they do to dull the abilities of the uncooperative accolyte.

The IRA do not protect anyone other than a senior citizen or woman. On some occasions, they will volunteer for public protection of pensioners, physically ill and disabled. No Provo ever helped children because corner-boys and "political soldiers" regard children as a drawback and a burden.
....
When the detritus that is social movements disappears, the politicians appear to catcall, mock and scorn their mutual opponents in good standing. In most countries, politicians mock lawyers and scorn the processes of law. Note the US in its developing senility and growing unipolar isolationism.
Nuisance and Sinn Fein
Sinn Fein are the orchestrators of most of the private nuisance and public disorder wherever they have a branch of their political party or even a sizeable proportion of supporters in the electorate. Where they do not, they will come at you with a knuckleduster or a knife like the Communists. The knife and the mocking voice alternate in all revolutionary troupes.
....
"Nobody with any self-respect would join Sinn Fein or any other organisation styling itself the IRA unless his life was in danger or his life prospects had been taken away by pro-British elements. The Dublin IRA is composed of cornerboys and thugs with concealed razors and knuckle dusters who have the mindset of sewer rats. They are no different from the Italian mafia on whom they model themselves."
The IRA was set up by the CIA and Irish Government.
Have nothing to do with them and their rowdy drinking sessions and nonsense verse and idle rhetoric.

The families
Republican families are violent families where parental division and brutality to children is common currency.
Discipline must be taught to young children so that they can make something of themselves. In Ireland as in all countries which are influenced by Catholic pedagogy, force is used unsparingly.Too much brutality spoils a child for life. Too much female hectoring after the age of maturity ruins mental wellbeing and psychological health.

The IRA
Like all syndicates of divergent interests, as regards the Provos there are open and well known links to both businesses, legal sometimes but usually illegal trading concerns.
If you become involved with Sinn Fein politicians such as Sean Lynch,Martin Mc Guinness or Mickie Morgan or the current crop of political wannabes you will sooner or later be approached by one or more of THEIR "sound men" to become involved in an illegal enterprise such as diesel laundering, murder conspiracy or tobacco smuggling. The Provos are businessmen at the end of the day and these activities are undertaken to enrich the IRA principal. He is usually the politician you voted for.
STAY WELL CLEAR of politicians and their fellow travellers . At the first sign of danger, they report you to the police as the sole instigator of the criminal undertaking which they initiated.
Because a phone call used to cost two pence, that is known as "putting you in the tuppeny place". In those instances, you will be detained and allowed only one phone call.
....
It does well to remember that though united in one whole,Provos and Sinn Fein are different bodies. The IRA believes in Irish Unity and takes its orders from Dublin, the Irish Army in Mc Kee Barracks in Rathmines while Sinn Fein is based in Belfast and is prepared to compromise on its absolute demands.
